AWARD PROGRAMS - PELICAN CHAPTER RECOGNIZES EIC WINNERS The Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors announces their Excellence in Construction Award Winners. The Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors announces the winners of their local Excellence in Construction competition. Eleven entries were received in various industrial and commercial construction categories; six received Awards of Excellence and one Award of Merit. Excellence Award winners were Performance Contractors with their Murphy Oil Ring Wall Foundation for K-V-300-2 Project, Turner Industries for their Shell Chemical GO-1 South Turnaround, Shaw Constructors with the Shintech VCM Civil/Foundation Project, Industrial Specialty Contractors for their Georgia Pacific Port Hudson Energy Project, United Scaffolding for their RSA Battle House Tower Project and MAPP Construction, Entercom Corporate Office. Merit Award winner was Performance Contractors for their BASF Corporation - AEOA Project. A banquet was held on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at The Baton Rouge Hilton Capitol Center to recognize and congratulate all of our winners. All winners are eligible to compete in the National ABC competition. Winners at the National level will be recognized at an awards banquet in Washington D.C. on June 18, 2008. |
